On July 7, 2022, the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center was officially renamed The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center. The new name honors the former Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dennis C. Moss. From 1993 to 2020, Commissioner Moss’s leadership and advocacy were crucial for building the performing arts center.
